Environmental Rating Scales for Child Care Programs


As a part of the Virginia's Star Initiative as referenced in the Alignment Project, the tool that is being used to assess quality care is the Environmental Rating Scales.







Currently this Initiative is being implemented as a voluntarily quality rating and improvement system (QRS) being implemented  by pilot programs in different parts of Virginia.
